Orphans

The water supply is contaminated and needs a filter to supply the orphans with clean water

Via the VDZ Foundation,  Moments of Joy helps fund projects of the Prasaro Foundation in Surinam . This Foundation runs a few houses in which they provide housing for children in the ages of 5 – 10 years old. Some of these children don't have any parents and there are also children whose parents can't take care of them anymore or that have been left to take care of themselves.

The KG VI Centre in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe is a (boarding) school for physically handicapped children. We have sponsored several projects for this school in the last few years, such as musical instruments, a computer and an asphalt baseball field.
Sadly, the situation in Zimbabwe has deteriorated so much that just having enough food for a meal is a moment of joy for the children of KV VI, and having a parent or close relative come pick you up for the holidays is almost a luxury. People are struggling to survive and what they need least of all is a handicapped child to take care of.

The Dutch foundation 'Stichting Derde Wereld Hulp (SDWH)' helps with sheltering children in Vijayawada, India and would like to take the kids on a field trip

We want to take 74 HIV infected orphans from the Tulip Garden Orphanage in the poor district of Andrah Pradesh, India on a day trip to a swimmingpool.
