In Simri and Kanda, two small villages in Nepal, the Dutch family de Brouwer is active in organising all sorts of projects to help the community. 7 years ago Anoeska de Brouwer came to Nepal for the first time and was struck by the lack of opportunities for a large group of the inhabitants of Nepal.
One case of a little boy struck her particularly and today he is still her special project.
To try and make the difference for the children in the villages of Simri and Kanda, Anoeska organises all sorts of activities to collect funds for her Foundation – Health for Nepal – for the projects that will benefit the children. Anoeska had asked Moments of Joy if they can help her with her project of creating a library for both the schools in Simri and Kanda.
The library will help the children study different subjects more in-debt and will help them improve their reading skills.
